The staff was nice and we visited during the off-season, but the overall feeling to the place was a bit dated and worn down. There were a few idd things like having electric outlets directly behind pillows, as in no headboard. The place was nice, though no 5 star.
Always love coming here! Great hot tube and racquetball courts. Also good sized fitness center. Rooms and living areas always clean and ready. Staff is always smiling. Just wish the pool could open earlier in the year if the weather is good earlier.
We thoroughly loved our stay here over Presidents’ Day weekend. The office staff were nice. I bought a log for the fire but we were usually warm and didn’t feel like using it, but did in the end, just for the nostalgia. The unit was clean and I felt it at least didn’t look worn out like other dated condos. There is floral wall paper but it looks fresh. Our 10 person unit had one queen bed and the rest were all single beds which was a little disappointing since we came with other couples. The front single bedroom had a VCR and the remote control for the cable had dead batteries. Kitchen and bathrooms were fine. Sofa bed was all right as far as comfort goes. The views were so refreshing to be away from the city and it was a great getaway for this time of year, made better by a good snowfall that allowed us to explore some of the ski areas nearby like Ogden Nordic, Nordic Valley, and after it snowed Powder Mountain (you need chains when it’s snowing and you have to go into Ogden to get them, none sold locally) and Snowbasin. We tried out the jacuzzi before it dumped snow on us! These pictures were 1 day apart! On the way into the rec center we saw 3 dear walk by the lawn. We tried the Harley’s Mexican restaurant and the Nordic Pizza place which were good but seemed a little pricey. We fell in love with this place and this area and can see it would be fun to be so close to the lake in the summer too. Great memories made, can’t wait to stay again! Wonderful discovery!! Glad we have a vacation club membership that let us stay for a much better rate then $200 a night.
